CSR and Responsible Animal Nutrition at CCPA

Working together for more sustainable livestock sectors.

The CCPA Group is committed to supporting the livestock sectors with a strong conviction: performance and sustainability can advance together.

To structure our actions around this shared vision, we have defined a CSR approach—Corporate Social Responsibility—based on four essential pillars and measurable objectives.

Our CSR strategy aims to create shared value by integrating our partners and customers into a process of continuous improvement. Together, we develop solutions that combine economic performance with a positive environmental impact.

We are convinced that the sustainable transformation of animal production requires the mobilization and collaboration of all stakeholders in the sector. The CCPA Group teams wish to contribute fully to this collective effort through their expertise and commitment.

The CCPA Group’s strategy consists of four pillars

  • Pillar 1

Reduction of GHG emissions for CCPA Group and its customers

  • Pillar 2

    Responsible purchasing & production

  • Pillar 3

    Responsible innovation

  • Pillar 4

    Employee well-being and social commitment

Pillar 1: Reduction of GHG emissions

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is one of the CCPA Group’s priorities. Our trajectory is ambitious compared to our 2024 carbon footprint, with a target of -30% emissions by 2030.

To achieve this, we are acting on two levels:

> In our own practices, by collaborating with our raw material and packaging suppliers to reduce the impact of our purchases.

> With our customers, by developing nutritional and livestock programs that reduce the carbon footprint of farms by up to 15%, without compromising their technical and economic performance.

Pillar 2: Responsible purchasing & production

Committing to sustainability requires surrounding ourselves with partners who have responsible practices, as well as producing in a sustainable manner.

To encourage this collective dynamic, we have drafted a “Responsible Purchasing Charter,” signed by all our suppliers.

We are constantly strengthening the energy efficiency of our production sites by investing in more efficient industrial equipment. We are also planning the location of our future plants as close as possible to our customers, in order to reduce the carbon footprint associated with transport.

Pillar 3: Responsible innovation

In order to bring the most ecologically efficient products and programs to market, our Research & Innovation approach integrates eco-design principles from the very first stages of development.

To better understand and control our environmental impact, we rely on the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method, which evaluates the potential environmental impacts of a product or service throughout its entire life cycle. By 2030, 80% of the products in our global range will be covered by an LCA.

Pillar 4: Employee well-being and social commitment

Respect and employee well-being lie at the heart of our approach. of our CSR approach. Each of the Group’s sites carries out concrete actions to strengthen employee safety and improve their working environment.

We are also deploying well-being measurement tools, safety training sessions, and environmental awareness actions to strengthen our social commitment. By 2027, 100% of the Group’s employees will have benefited from these measures.
