LEC
Steel Inc. - LEC Steel Company was
founded in Hamilton, Ontario in 1990 in a 5000 square foot
facility. The company manufactures wire and wire products.
In 1994, it moved its manufacturing to a 135,000 square
foot facility in Brantford, Ontario. Later
that year, after the installation of mesh welder, LEC
began to serve different markets such as the precast
concrete industry. In 2001, LEC Steel Company
changed its name to LEC Steel Inc. and solidified
its “single source” positioning in the reinforcing steel
marketplace. LEC has upgraded and improved its
facility to accommodate growth and service levels with a
new, fully automated mesh welder and specialty bolt
machine. |
